Headshot Heaven

Sounds like a porno right? Last night we did some professional head shots for my amazing room mate Whitney, our friend Danielle, and my best friend Kat. All were BEAUTIFULLY easy to shoot, and took direction so well. We even captured one that looks like it should be the front of a Popsicle box (preferably Blue Bell-see picture above). Shout out to Josh Shoemaker also out of Birmingham for letting us barrow some lights. Anyways, Jeremy is the technical and artistic part of our duo and I’m the business and creative directing part. I think we realized how great we work with each other with those titles, and I figure I should put to use the Bachelors in Art that I’m almost done with. The one thing that came to mind after working with Jeremy for the past couple of months is that I’ve learned more about the artistic side of myself and how to use it, then I ever did in formal art school which I might add had amazing and very inspiring professors. I’ve always loved painting and sculpting, but the older I get the less I see myself doing that as a profession. I’m loving what I’m doing now, and it suits me so well, and I think the people we shoot also see that. Anyways if you’ve read to here then you should definitely check out our Facebook (facebook.com/barbarianphoto). There will be more photo posts and some chit chat soon, and more often so keep checking back.
